Regarding creation

Someone said the other day: "Look, all I was trying to do was to create a deterministic system". I thought it would be a good idea for the Creator of the Universe to sign up for this phrase. Assuming there is such a thing as a singular creator who would actually care for a deterministic outcome.

Let's entertain the idea for a minute. Let's say fatalists are right and all is indeed written in the stars. What would this pre-determined Universe really look like? Here's a rather peculiar analogy - imagine a fluid of some sort slowly filling a container. Now, make the container a really, really convoluted 3D construct, a sort of a distorted bee-hive being filled with honey. The speed of the fluid would be the flow of Time and the fluid itself would be us, not our flash, but rather the cerebral, unfathomable us as a oddly ordered list of facts twisted around the central rod called our ego. No matter how much we strive for possessing free will, it all is an utter illusion. All has already been defined by the invisible walls of the construct, all is written indeed, in the stars or by the stars.

Somewhat depressing analogy, isn't it?
