Education, above all, has consistently demonstrated its ability to transform human minds, both on individual and group level.
When a woman realizes she has a child she no longer sees herself as a passive member of the society, she is now actively participating in its construction by bringing in new members. When I man realizes he has a child he no longer feels as the only active member of the otherwise passive society. He starts to understand he’s just a humble part of the whole.
